The first day of school for students in Grades 1-5 is Tuesday September 2nd, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 11:30 a.m. All returning students will begin the school year in last year’s classroom. Before entering the school, students will line up in same area as last year. Staff will be available to assist you in finding your child’s temporary teacher. For new students please meet us at the front doors off the staff parking lot and we will take them to their classrooms. We cannot place students in permanent classes until we have permission from the school district. Please send students with a snack, a filled water bottle and some basic school supplies for the week.
The first full day of classes for Grades 1 – 5 will be Wednesday, September 5th from 8:45 a.m. – 2:37p.m. Please send your child with a snack, water bottle and lunch and the basic supplies mentioned. The classroom teachers will be instructing students and families about bringing full school supplies later in the week. As always, it will take us a few days to get class placements finalized and we thank you for your patience. Most of the time for schools the move day to permanent classes is Thursday of the first week.
Kindergarten families should follow the outline given on the letter you received in June. If you did not receive a letter, please contact the school for further information about your first day.
