Remembrance Day Assembly

On Friday November 8th our school will honour the sacrifices made in war by brave Canadians during the Remembrance Day Ceremony. This solemn event will take place in the school auditorium at 10:45 AM, where students, staff, and community members will gather in reflection and gratitude. The ceremony will feature poignant readings, musical performances by our school choir, and a moment of silence to pay tribute to those who served. This year we will have a small group of seniors from Luther Court who will join us for the ceremony and enjoy a small lunch hosted by staff and a group of grade 5 students.  Students and staff will wear poppies as a symbol of remembrance and to participate in discussions about the significance of this day.  Thank you to those who have sent in pictures of their family members who have served in the military.
